The Hayner Reitshul' Karussell

This beautiful German carousel travels to several locations in Germany throughout the year, playing fairs and parks.  Many of these can be seen on the web site.  Built in 1895, it has had many homes including seven years in North Carolina (USA).  Returned to Germany in 1978, it was restored and placed back in its original home.  This two story machine is the second largest in Germany and one of only seven in the country.  It has two rotating gondolas and four ships as well as horses in the German style.  Owned by a private riding club, income from the carousel is used for special education projects.
